What can the Fit3D scanner tell me?
The Fit3D scanner can determine your weight, body composition, posture, balance, and much more! This information is useful during a weight loss journey or trying to increase muscle mass as this information will not be available just using a scale. The Fit3D scanner will be able to keep track of your progress so that you can compare and contrast as time goes on.
Why is this important?
When it comes to your health, your waist-to-hip ratio, as well as your fat to lean body mass, can determine your cardiovascular health risk. For a woman, you want your waist-to-hip ration below 0.85 and for men, below 1.0. A waist-to-hip ratio above these numbers increases your cardiovascular risk.
As you move toward your fitness and nutrition goals, we can periodically scan you so that you have the opportunity to see how your body changes in a healthy way vs. just using a weight scale.
Before arriving at the NECC for your appointment, please register for a Fit3D account.
